O regaço social da República: algumas considerações sobre a pobreza e a protecção social na Constituição de 1911

Resumo

Argumentando com base na literatura académica ( Professorenrecht) e nalegislação sobre o tema da protecção social, o autor assinala os traços de (des)continuidade entre a última fase da Monarquia Constitucional e a PrimeiraRepública portuguesa nesse domínio.

Drawing upon an analysis of the scholarly literature (Professorenrecht) andthe legislation on the issue of social protection, the author stresses the traces of(dis)continuity between the Late Monarchy and the First Portuguese Republic inthat field.
